After heading back from an amazing night with breakout artist “DEEVINE,”I sat there knowing my uber ride was 30 minutes to my hotel, so I sparked a conversation with the driver. (Normally, I prefer the 🤫silence.)

I asked him where he was from, and he answered “China.”

My inquiry started this long conversation, (even when my bestie called to check on me she said “that sounds like a lot of talking.”) where I not only learned where he was from, but he opened my eyes again about the power of choice.

It started with me asking if he had another job other than uber. Back in my days (2019 lol) when I was doing everything to make a buck, I had tried uber, only to quickly learn, you make just enough. (And rely heavily on tips)
